Whether you’ve had lots of experience playing or have never picked up a badminton racquet before, Medics Badminton is for you! We are open to all, although if you are a medic/dentist you can apply for membership and discounted rates!

Training is relaxed and gives players a chance to learn new skills and play games. For those of you interested in more competitive play, there are many opportunities to play matches throughout the year; in Intramural competition, against other medical schools and in the highly competitive Bristol league.

We have members of different standards across all 5 years of Medical school. As well as playing lots of badminton, we have amazing socials. So if you want to play competitively or just to have some fun, meet some new people and get some exercise, feel free to join the Facebook group or email us!

Membership is open to all med students, but non-medic guests (non-members) are also welcome to attend any sessions! Rackets and shuttles are provided free of charge. NO SPORTS PASS REQUIRED and NO ATHLETIC UNION MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED!!!
